about

I was all set to be a janitor my whole life. I was in high school and landed my first job cleaning toilets at a power rental company. I hated the job of looking for a job so I knew that I never wanted to look for another job again. Then one day I was at a baseball game at my junior college and the local newspaper photographer was there shooting the game and said to me "I get paid to do this." This eventually launched a 15 year career in newspaper photojournalism, eleven of which were spent on staff at the San Diego Union-Tribune. Today, I'm my own boss looking for new jobs taking pictures everyday....and loving it.

I'm a photographer based in Pasadena, California.
